2000<\/p>

In 1998, I started the revitalisation of the Moulin Rouge in Budapest, which I renovated with the help of designer L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Rajk, based on the original plans of the architects Fellner and Helmer. I opened the doors of the revitalised orphanage in 2000 with the revue Revue Deja Vu, which ran for nearly 400 performances in the Moulin Rouge.<\/p>

On 1 July 1997, OperocK Ltd. purchased the lease and operating rights to the Moulin Rouge with the approval of the Budapest Operetta Theatre and the Municipality of Budapest, and in the contract undertook to carry out a complete renovation of the Moulin Rouge, restoring the interior and exterior fa\u00e7ade of the patinaed Moulin Rouge to its pre-World War II condition, naturally with the addition of modern technical equipment.
\nBy preserving the architectural values, we have restored the patina and uniqueness of the theatre and restored its original function as a caf\u00e9, restaurant and theatre-performance venue.

\n\nThe final result of the renovation was a multi-purpose entertainment complex which, in addition to its normal operation, hosted receptions, other social events and television tapings before the show began. The total investment, for which CIB Bank Rt. provided a loan in addition to several private investors, was in the order of 800 Mft.
\nThe long-talked about PESTI BROADWAY, the first entertainment venue, wanted to set an example to its followers in character, spirit and style. My guiding vision was to make the legend of Pest's heartfelt vision a reality.

\n\nBy the time it reopened in 2000, the Moulin Rouge Orfeum had become a high-class, exclusive nightclub that restored the old glamour of Budapest nightlife.
\nThe Moulin Rouge was not only a night-time entertainment venue with live music and a hot kitchen, but also a caf\u00e9 and restaurant open during the day, as well as an exclusive venue for various events and television shootings.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
