2010<\/p>

In 2010, on the site of the former SPARK cinema, I built a new kind of cultural centre, which was funded by the National Development Agency's New Hungary Development Plan \n\"Cultural Attraction with Tourist Attractiveness\". \nIn 2010, we started the reconstruction and the opening of the \nthree months of trial operation on 11 February 2011.

\n\nThe SPARK cool-tour-house - Budapest's new cultural entertainment centre - was opened in February 2011 and officially went up in flames.<\/p>

In our short few months of operation, we have had 12 theatre performances in our repertoire \n- including 6 original shows - 2 new shows and more than 30 concerts.
I finished running SPARK on 31 May 2011.<\/p>

Our performances have included Eszter Cs\u00e1k\u00e1nyi, P\u00e9ter Scherer, L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Katona, Kati Tak\u00e1ts, S\u00e1ndor Terhes, but we have also had guest performances by Judit Hern\u00e1di, Andrea Fullajt\u00e1r and B\u00e9la M\u00e9sz\u00e1ros, \nK\u00e1roly Hajduk, Vera Sipos; and our repertoire has also included productions by Istv\u00e1n Tasn\u00e1di, Vilmos Vajdai, R\u00e9ka Pels\u0151czy, S\u00e1ndor Zs\u00f3t\u00e9r, Lehel Kov\u00e1cs, Vikt\u00f3ria Jaross and Andor Luk\u00e1ts (Paravariet\u00e9 - ETCHNO - Chicago - MM - Piccadilly Circus - The Soldier's Tale)<\/p>

We had concerts by two supergroups such as Quimby and Kiscsillag, and we launched the HungaROCKum series, inviting the great elders of the Hungarian pop-rock scene: in February and March, Charlie and R\u00f3zsi Demj\u00e9n were our guests.<\/p>

A new interactive music stand-up show was launched with Andr\u00e1s Haj\u00f3s, \nand the best big band in Hungary, led by Korn\u00e9l Fekete-Kov\u00e1cs, performed live, \nGy\u0151z\u0151 Szab\u00f3, Ervin Nagy, Kriszti\u00e1n Kolovratnik, Tam\u00e1s Keresztes \nand Csaba Debreczeny in our own production MACHOW SWING, \nS\u00e1ndor F\u00e1bry was the host presenter for our opening.<\/p>

Gy\u00f6rgy Ferenczi and the Rackajam, the Szab\u00f3 Bal\u00e1zs Band, and Maszkura with the Cricket Band, the Neo held a record launch; P\u00e9ter Nov\u00e1k, P\u00e9ter M\u00fcller Szi\u00e1mi, Pista Busa and Akkezdet Phiai, BackIIBlack, the Kerekes Band, the Bootsi Quartet performed; and Eszter Tak\u00e1cs and Mantra Porno, B\u00eblga and Kisteh\u00e9n, BeshOdrom, and BRAINDOGS Tom Waits musical theatre evening with two foreign performers and - among others - Frenk, Tibi Kiss and L\u00edviusz Varga.<\/p>

And last but not least, the weekend DJ parties were hosted by several foreign stars (Ilario Alicante, Joey Negro, Lee Burridge), but also by Depeche Mode founder Alan Wilder, the English Alice Russell, and many Hungarian DJ stars from Palotai to Superman, and Netsky and B-Complex drum & bass parties have been held twice at SPARK, as well as the Balkan Party, Indiafest and Balkan Beats parties.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
