Arthur Schnitzler’s comedy *La Ronde* has been adapted numerous times, including as musical, film, and television adaptation. The best-known adaptation in Hungary was the Vígszínház production *KÖRMAGYAR* in 1989, adapted by Mihály Kornis, in which the stories were set against the political backdrop of the early days of the transition to democracy. This time, a new film has been made titled “10Night Stand,” which explores the social and societal conditions of Hungary in the 2020s, where “the father is a man, the mother is a woman—and where ‘not even God goes home while the family is at home’... Ten “Tinder” dates instead of the Ten Commandments: virtual relationships, bleak pleasures, quick flings, spiritual deviance, hypocritical pretense, perverse homophobia, lustful bloody revenge—and in the background, a twist that is by no means about joy... The film will premiere at the 2026 CineFest on September 6 and will be screened in theaters nationwide starting September 24.
